The Brief was to create a spa pool retreat in an unused inaccessible corner of the garden.
This posed a few challenges with elevation and distance between fixed points all needing to be carefully considered.
Rather than a set of straight stairs to the spa pool area we focused our design on creating a journey through the garden by dividing the rise into two stages with a transitional deck and planters.
The final result is a very structured elegant approach and forms a real juxtaposition between the subtropical plantings that the structure sits amongst.
